Hair Transplant & Hair-Loss FAQs
A LITTLE CLARITY BEFORE YOU DECIDE
Explore common questions about our treatments and clinic visits. Advice for your own hair and skin starts with an individual consultation.
Hair transplant planning
Do I need a hair transplant for hair fall?
Not always. The pattern and cause of hair loss should be assessed first. Dr. Jain discusses whether medical treatment, a procedure or further assessment is appropriate.
How many grafts will I need?
The estimate depends on the area to cover, existing hair, donor availability and the longer-term plan. An online photograph or cost calculator does not determine your graft requirement.
What is the difference between FUE and Sapphire FUE?
FUE describes taking individual follicular units from the donor area. Sapphire FUE refers to the blade used to make recipient openings. Ask which technique is being recommended and why.
Can you guarantee a particular hairline or density?
No particular result is guaranteed. Your consultation covers achievable coverage, donor limitations, risks, recovery and aftercare before you decide.
What does the transplant price include?
The published FUE and Sapphire rates are graft-based starting points. Medicines, follow-ups and post-operative PRP are not included. Ask for a written estimate of the full plan.
Hair and skin treatments
How do I choose between PRP and Growth Factor PRP?
Begin with your hair-loss assessment. Dr. Jain explains differences in preparation, suitability, session planning and cost. One option is not automatically right for every patient.
What should I ask about Exosome PRP?
Ask about the exact product, source, treatment protocol, evidence, uncertainties and alternatives. This is an emerging approach, and individual suitability should be discussed before treatment.
Which chemical peel should I choose?
A dermatologist should assess your skin before selecting a peel and its strength. Tell the doctor about your products, medicines and previous procedures, and ask about recovery and aftercare.
Appointments and visiting
What is the consultation fee?
The doctor consultation fee is ₹700, payable at the clinic. No online payment is collected by the website booking form.
Which days is the clinic closed?
The clinic is closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Monday hours are 9:15 am–6:30 pm. Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday hours are 9:30 am–6:30 pm.
Is my selected arrival time the exact consultation start?
Arrival choices help organise the queue. Consultation length is flexible, so the actual start time may vary. Online bookings are automatically confirmed when the booking service is live.
Can I upload photographs before visiting?
The assessment form accepts optional front hairline, crown and donor-area photos. These are kept private for clinic review and do not produce an automated diagnosis.
How can I change or cancel a visit?
Call 62921 52716 and share your booking reference. The clinic can update its arrangements or cancel the booking.
What should I bring?
Bring relevant prescriptions, recent reports, a list of medicines you take and questions you would like to discuss. Photographs showing changes over time may also help.
